Lenka Koppová, founder of Cambridge Social Media, said: “Cambridge Social Media has always followed a ‘help me to help you’ approach. Our main motto is to empower others and collaborate.

“We’re really excited to have an iconic headline keynote speaker joining the event, to help all our attendees to think more strategically about their social media marketing.

“There are lots of businesses who need help with their overall understanding and learning about these social media and that’s where we saw a perfect opportunity to partner up with Shifties again where their motto is ‘Connect, Learn, Grow’.”

One of the key topics this year will be staying mentally fit while using social media as business owners. Many businesses have embraced social media during the pandemic. This has created lots of opportunities but it can be a huge strain on mental health. CSM Day 2021 will be inviting participants to look at ways entrepreneurs can avoid being ‘always on’.

There will be panel discussions on the mental fitness side of social media, sharing good practices to maintain positive mental health whilst leveraging the platforms for the benefit of small business lead generation and community building.

Founder of Shifties Alex Hughes said: “In the world of micro business, social media is too good an opportunity to not leverage the access you can gain to your potential customers and build communities of brand advocates. However, this does not have to come at the expense of your mental health, we will be bringing to the table the discussion around having the right mindset to get what you need strategically from your marketing activities and open the conversation further to developing the right mindset to truly unlock the potential it can have for you and your business.”

This year CSM Day is CPD accredited. Attendees will be able to request a certificate after completing the training.
